The masters return
The master's return
Jesus Christ return will be like a certain master
who hired four servants to work at his vineyard. The servants were devoted,
hardworking and faithful for a long period of time.
The master saw their devotion and decided not to
follow up on their work because he trusted them. They later recognized that the
master was not after them anymore, they waited for long for his return to the
vineyard but he never returned to check on them.
One day the
master just woke up in the morning and decided that it’s been long since he
hasn't gone to the vineyard to check upon his servants.
He decided that on that day later he will return to
the vineyard so he could also reward his servants for their commitment and
faithfulness even at his absence.
On the other side; the servants said to themselves,
it’s been long since waiting for our master to check on us and we've been
working ourselves so hard just for nothing.
They decided that they will not work on that day,
they will complete the work some other time and they convinced themselves that
it will take long before the master return, they then said "let us eat,
drink and be merry.
The master came later on that day and behold!! They
were eating, dancing and enjoying themselves. The master was very angry and he
ordered his guards to take them out of the vineyard to the place of torment.
The moral of this parable is that; Jesus will come
at an hour we don't expect. Be authentic in you righteousness and never decide
on taking a break from faith.
